Jane Turns 3!

One Year Old:

Two Years Old:

Three Years Old:

I was conflicted about which picture to chose as her "official" 3 year old picture.  The one above is the cutest picture of her but that is not how she usually smiles.

This picture is how Jane usually smiles, which is a little less, uh, photogenic:

Height: 36 inches

Weight: 28 pounds

Favorite Foods: Mac & Cheese and pizza

Favorite Books: The Cat in the Hat, Green Eggs and Ham, and Mother Goose.

Favorite Movies/Shows: Wall-E, Totoro, Sarah & Duck and The Cat in the Hat.

Best Friends: Alice and Ansel.  Ansel is a friend from church and our homeschool group that is her little partner in crime.  I once found them together in the bathroom eating soap.

She is playing with Rutherford more and more as he gets older and "more fun".

She is becoming more of a talker.  She goes off on silly rambling stories.

She has been a bit of a handful in the area of discipline and is quick to throw herself on the floor and scream when things don't go her way.

Thankfully she does do pretty well in public and her Bible study teachers say she is "an angel".

She has recently become a little less independent and a little more cautious in certain situations.

She's still really tough and rarely cries when she falls.

She loves to cuddle, especially after naptime.  She is mute for like 15 minutes after nap and just wants to sit on my lap and cuddle.  If she doesn't get that time, she can be very grouchy.

She LOVES pretending to be a dog or cat.  Unfortunately her "meow" isn't a cute meow but more like an angry cat or worse, a cat in heat.

She's my silly and sweet Jane Lily.

More of Jane in the Texas wildflowers.
