Raisins

It's been interesting as a parent experiencing those moments when it hits you that your baby is growing up.

Because Alice has been walking since she was 9 months old, she was a "toddler" much earlier than most.

But I still didn't see her as one, she was still a baby.

Even with her 1st birthday she still seemed like a baby to me.

But one day we went to Whole Foods and they have a kids area when you leave where a child can get a free treat and just for fun I grabbed a box of raisins for Alice.

I gave it to her in the car expecting her to shake it and chew on the box then maybe dump raisins everywhere.

I was surprised when we got home to see her picking raisins out of the box and eating them.

And that was when it hit me.

She isn't a baby anymore!

She is a child!

Silly I know, but it kinda blew my mind.

So here are some pictures of my child, eating raisins.
