My parents came to visit for Alice's first birthday.
We hadn't seen them since Christmas.
Alice was just 3 months old then.
This was about 10 minutes after they got to our house.
Since the main point of the visit was to spend as much time with Alice as possible, we hung out at home a lot.

We went to the capitol building in downtown Baton Rouge.
It is the tallest capitol building in the US and is really beautiful.

We went to New Orleans for the first time.
My parents had been before so they played tour guide.
The French Quarter
Alice chasing pigeons at Cafe Du Monde while we ate beignets.
This was the "after party" on Alice's birthday.
She gets an extra boost of energy around 8 pm. She can get pretty crazy.
She especially likes to attack your face with her mouth wide open.
It was a fun visit though it went by too fast.
Good thing Christmas isn't too far off so she can get loved on by all the grandparents :o)
