We Are Going To....

Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge!

Stephen got accepted to their political science Ph. D. program.

We will be moving down there in early August.

As for the other 8 schools, they are big dummies who obviously don't know a good thing when they see it because they all rejected Stephen.

But I like to think of it as God giving us very clear directions on where we are supposed to go :o)

Moving to the "deep south" is going to be a new and exciting experience for us.

Also living in one place for more than 2 years is also going to be a new and exciting experience.

I am greatly looking forward to having a garden and hopefully chickens (I looked it up, you can have up to 3 chickens in Baton Rouge!)

We are trying to figure out if we will buy a place.

It is hard to rent since most places say no pets or if they allow pets there is a 25 pound weight limit.

(Willow is 30 pounds and Lilo is 70 pounds)

And it would be especially hard to give up the pets now that Alice loves them so much.

Stephen is going to go down there in the next couple of months to check things out.

 LSU's football team is the Tigers so here is Alice with her "tiger".
